about
Bellevue Floral Co. is a boutique floral design studio based in Napa Valley. Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern day aesthetic that is both natural and playful.
While being surrounded by flowers everyday is an absolute dream, one of the most meaningful parts of our business is getting to know our clients and helping them to tell a story through flowers. We look forward to connecting with you soon!
what's in a name?
In the hills outlying San Francisco, there is a neighborhood iconic for its "ticky tacky" boxes on the hillside. In one such pink box on Bellevue Avenue, owner Christina Yan grew up. Her childhood was enveloped in nature and the arts, hence it was only fitting to make an ode to the street on which these passions were nurtured. Bellevue also translates to "beautiful view" in French - the perfect moniker for a business that brings so much color and beauty into the world.
"Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same."
Lyrics from "Little Boxes" by Malvina Reynolds, written in 1962 about the new suburban housing developments
in Daly City, California.

Hi there! Have we met before? I'm Christina, the Owner of Bellevue Floral Co.
The hardest part about building this website was taking a moment to write a few words about myself. It's pretty easy to hide behind a bucket of flowers, but at the heart of my business I'm the kind of gal who truly values a meaningful connection with my clients. I love hearing about your journey and what flowers mean to you. It's my honor to be able to convey your story through the art of floristry.
Now, a few fun things I thought I'd share about myself!
1. My current favorite color combo is lavender and chartreuse
2. One of my biggest passions outside of floral design is cooking! If I'm not playing with flowers, you'll most likely find me tending to my backyard garden or in the kitchen.
3. I've danced hula and ori Tahiti since I was 18. Dance is another one of my love languages and a favorite form of expression.
3. I enjoy photography as a hobby and many photos you see of my floral design are taken on my own!
